I have a first-generation Xbox One and a PS4 Pro for most of my gaming and entertainment needs. I previously had a Nintendo Switch, but I recently gifted it to my niece, so she can play along with her older brothers. For work (and on-the-go gaming needs) I use a Dell gaming laptop with an 8th Generation Intel i5 processor, 8GB memory, 128GB SSD and a 1TB HDD that runs NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, which makes running The Sims 4 on Ultra mode with 20GB of mods, in my downtime of course, incredibly easy. For my phone, I use an iPhone XS 64GB complete with the Kardashian-favored LuMee Light-Up protective case for protection against the elements and the uncanny ability to make soft-light selfies look like studio photos
Lifewire allows me to cultivate my brand of identity-focused stories that feature the unknown and de-centered voices of people who make up the margins of the tech community. Focusing on these underserved perspectives and giving them a platform, which has allowed me to fulfill my mission in tech journalism: painting a fuller, more colorful picture of what gaming and internet communities look like and how they operate.
